Located on the Deschutes River

River Bend Recovery provides Structured Transitional Living for women recovering from addiction and co-occurring disorders in Bend, Oregon. The program emphasizes community and sisterhood as a means to develop connections that will strengthen each individual’s foundation in recovery.

Located on the Deschutes River, River Bend’s beautiful six-bed home provides residents a comfortable, nurturing and safe space as a foundation from which they will build their recovery. River Bend’s census is small by design to allow for a more personalized approach to aftercare.

River Bend Recovery is a comprehensive life skills program. Each resident is assigned a case manager to assist them in developing their weekly recovery plan. During this phase, staff will support each resident in discovering which community-based meetings feel most conducive to their recovery. Staff will also assist residents in finding employment and/or continuing their education at one of two local universities. In addition to case management, River Bend has close relationships with experienced local clinical providers ready to be utilized should residents require additional therapeutic support.

Residents are also offered weekend adventure therapy opportunities which take advantage of the numerous indoor and outdoor local activities available in Bend, including excursions to the Deschutes National Forest, hiking through Three Sisters Wilderness, whitewater rafting, and more.
